Ryan Wu is an analyst at the Strategic China Policy Group and a Susan Strange Fellow at the Helsinki Geoeconomics Society. Born and raised in Hong Kong and now based in London, he specialises in China’s geoeconomic strategy, foreign policy, and emerging technology. His analysis has appeared in the China Strategic Risks Institute, the Council on Geostrategy, the Jamestown Foundation’s China Brief, and The Diplomat. He previously worked at RUSI’s Centre for Finance and Security, focusing on the PRC’s economic security doctrine. He holds an MPhil from the University of Oxford.
